Condensation Issues with Air Conditioning During Summer

During the peak heat of summer, setting the air conditioning temperature too low can greatly increase the temperature difference between the indoor air and the air inside the AC unit, making condensation more likely to occur.

If too much condensation accumulates, it can exceed the AC unit’s capacity to handle the condensation water, leading to water dripping down.

To prevent condensation, it is recommended to avoid drastically lowering the air conditioning temperature. Instead, start at about 27°C and gradually decrease the setting.

Setting the air conditioning to its maximum of 18°C often results in a high likelihood of condensation dripping. Please keep the air conditioning setting no lower than 22°C.

Laundry equipment

There is a drum-type washer-dryer and a gas clothes dryer on the second-floor balcony.

The washer-dryer has a drying function but is limited to a maximum of 5kg and is not very efficient, so it is recommended for washing purposes.

For faster and more efficient drying, please use the gas clothes dryer above, which can handle up to 9kg.

About the SAUNA

To enhance your stay, we pre-activate the sauna for immediate use post-check-in.

However, due to timer settings, it may turn off automatically.

Please ensure the sauna is on before use. We appreciate your understanding and cooperation.

Due to operational reasons, we may not be able to preheat the sauna before your arrival.
We appreciate your understanding in such cases.

Sauna Usage Guidelines

  • Preheat the Sauna: Please turn on the sauna heater about one hour before use to warm up the room.
  • Turn Off When Not in Use: Always switch off the sauna heater when it is not in use.
  • Use Hot Water for Löyly: Always use hot water for löyly. Using cold water can cause damage to the heater.
  • Please use only tap hot water or the specified löyly aromas for sauna heaters. The use of any brought-in liquids, such as aromatherapy oils or teas, is strictly forbidden due to the risk of damaging the heater and stones. In the event of a violation, actions including claims for damages will be taken.
  • Moderate Löyly Water: Pouring a large amount of water at once can produce high-temperature steam and cause burns, so please adjust the amount of water used for löyly.
  • Do Not Touch the Heater or Stones: Avoid touching the heater and stones during use as it poses a risk of burns.
  • Please be careful of your footing and avoid falling when using the sauna bench.
  • Keep Flammable Materials Away: Do not place flammable or combustible materials near the sauna heater.
  • Aromas for Löyly: If aromas for löyly are provided, do not bring the aroma bottles into the sauna room.
  • Avoid Alcohol: For safety, please refrain from using the sauna if you have consumed alcohol.

For löyly, use one ladle of hot water at a time, no more often than once every five minutes, as a guide for this sauna.

The cold plunge bath is equipped with a filtration system and an ozone sanitization system to keep the water clean.

Please do not drain the cold plunge bath.
Leave the plug in place and the water in the bathtub after use and at checkout. Guests do not need to replace the water.

If the water level in the cold plunge bath drops, please feel free to top it up using the green-handled valve near the bathtub.
After topping up, close the valve and check that the water has stopped.

Löyly Aroma for Sauna

“What is Löyly?“

Löyly is a traditional Finnish sauna bathing method where water is poured over hot stones in a sauna to generate steam.
This steam, known as “Heat Wave,” increases the humidity and temperature inside the sauna, making it more comfortable for bathers. It also eases breathing, promotes relaxation, and opens pores.

We have placed a bucket for löyly and löyly aromas on the vanity in front of the sauna room.
Please fill the löyly bucket with hot water from the bathtub faucet and use it by adding 2 to 3 pumps of the aroma from the pump bottle.

This pump bottle contains our original sauna aroma, specially blended for löyly.

Handling Instructions for Sauna Löyly Aroma

  • Please refrain from bringing löyly aroma bottles into the sauna room. PET material bottles may melt due to high temperatures.
  • Always dilute with water before use.
  • Do not apply the concentrate directly to the stove; it contains ethanol and may ignite.
  • Do not apply to skin.
  • This is not a bath additive.
  • Do not ingest under any circumstances.
Please fill the bucket with hot water from the bathroom faucet.

Etiquette for sauna bathing

After heating up in the sauna, we recommend cooling down your body in this cold bath and taking a rest for about 5 minutes.

We recommend doing this cycle three times, but you can do it as many or as few times as you want!

Pouring water on sauna stones and warming the body with the generated steam is the Finnish-style “löyly.”
It might feel cold at first, but once you get used to it, cold water can be quite refreshing and enjoyable!
After taking a cold bath, taking a rest allows the parasympathetic nervous system to become dominant, leading to an increased sense of relaxation.

Precautions for Using a Bucket Shower

When using the bucket shower, we kindly ask that you always close the glass door.
The water is released quite forcefully and in large amounts, so if used with the door open, the room may become flooded.

When using the bucket shower, please make sure to close the glass door shown in this picture.

If you need to supply water to the bucket shower, please press the push valve below.
